Rear Left Park Brake Cable: Installation

  1. Install the park brake cable. For domestic vehicles, install the park brake cable to the backing plate. For export vehicles, install the park brake cable to the park brake cable bracket.
  2. Install the park brake cable to the park brake actuator. For domestic vehicles, perform the following steps. Install the brake drum. Install the tire and wheel. Install the brake drum. Tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  3. Install the park brake left side cable to the park brake equalizer. Adjust the park brake cable. Lower the vehicle.
