Park Brake Warning Lamp Switch: Removal

Remove the left-side instrument panel insulator.

1. Remove the push-in retainers from the I/P insulator to instrument panel.
2. Remove the press-on retainers from the I/P insulator to dash mat.
3. Unsnap the I/P courtesy lamp from the I/P insulator.
4. Remove the I/P insulator from the instrument panel.

Remove the left-side carpet retainer. Use the Door Trim Pad Clip Remover in order to remove the door-opening carpet retainers from the carpet retainer. Remove the park brake indicator switch electrical connector. See Figure . Remove the park brake indicator switch screw. Remove the parking brake indicator switch.
