Brake Backing Plate: Installation

  1. Install the backing plate. Install the wheel bearing/hub. See appropriate REAR SUSPENSION article in SUSPENSION. Install the wheel cylinder. See WHEEL CYLINDER  . Install the park brake cable to the backing plate. See REAR PARK BRAKE CABLE  . Install the park brake actuator to the park brake cable. Install the brake shoes. See BRAKE SHOES  .
  2. Install the brake drum. See BRAKE DRUM  . Install the Tire and Wheel. Lower Vehicle.
