Adjusting Screw: Installation

Use the Brake Shoe Spanner and Spring Remover in order to spread the brake shoes apart. Ensure that the adjuster engages the brake shoes, the park brake actuator, and the adjuster actuator properly. See Figure . Install the adjuster. Use the Brake Shoe Spanner and Spring Remover in order to install the adjuster spring. Install the straight end of the adjuster spring into the secondary brake shoe. Install the loop end of the adjuster spring to the adjuster actuator. Install the brake drum.
