Installation Procedure

IMPORTANT: If this vehicle was built prior to VIN #384106, perform the following modifications to the console and the shift bezel.

Locate the left side center attachment point on the driver's side of the console adjacent to the shifter. The attachment point contains a slot and a hole.
Using a suitable tool, remove the material between the slot and the hole. By removing this material, one long slot will be created connecting the slot and hole.
Using a suitable tool, remove the locating pin from the underside of the new shift bezel. The pin is located next to the right rear mounting screw hole on the shift bezel.

Position the bezel to the floor console.
Install the bezel to the console by seating the retaining clips.

Install the console storage bin. Refer to Console Storage Bin Replacement .
Install the floor shift control boot to the console. Refer to FLOOR SHIFT KNOB in Automatic Transmission.
Position the shift lever in the PARK position.
Remove the wheel blocks from the vehicle.
