Removal & Installation

Remove 2/3 of brake fluid from master cylinder. Raise and support vehicle. Remove wheel and tire assembly. Compress caliper piston with large "C" clamp. Remove caliper guide pin bolts. See Fig 1 . Hold inner disc pad while removing caliper from knuckle. Support caliper using wire. Remove inner and outer disc pad, pad clips and springs.
To install, reverse removal procedure. Coat slide bushings with silicone grease. Tighten caliper guide pin bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
