Visual/Physical Inspection

Inspect for aftermarket devices which could affect the operation of the instrument panel and gauges system or the audible warnings system.
Inspect the easily accessible or visible system components for obvious damage or conditions which could cause the symptom.
Inspect the interior/exterior lighting system and seat belt indicator for normal operation.
Check all engine fluids for proper fill levels.
Be sure that there are no other DTCs set which may affect the operation of the instrument panel and gauges system or the audible warnings system.
