1	Did you review the Instrument Cluster Description and Operation and perform the necessary inspections?	Go to Step 2	Go to Symptoms - Instrument Panel, Gages and Console
2	Verify that the oil gage indicator is inoperative. Does the oil gage indicator operate normally?	Go to TESTING FOR INTERMITTENT AND POOR CONNECTIONS	Go to Step 3
3	Disconnect the oil pressure switch connector. Connect fused jumper from the oil pressure switch connector to chassis ground. Does the oil pressure indicator illuminate?	Go to Step 4	Go to Step 5
4	Replace the oil pressure switch. Did you complete the repair?	Go to Step 8	-
5	Disconnect the instrument panel cluster assembly connector C2. Test for a short to ground or open condition. Test the YEL/BLK wire from cavity 3 to the oil pressure switch. Is a short to ground or open condition present?	Go to Step 6	Go to Step 7
6	Repair the open in the YEL/BLK wire between the instrument panel cluster assembly and the oil pressure switch. Did you complete the repair?	Go to Step 8	-
7	Repair or replace the instrument panel cluster printed circuit. Refer to Instrument Cluster Printed Circuit Replacement . Is the repair complete?	Go to Step 8	-
8	Operate the system in order to verify the repair. Did you correct the condition?	System OK	Go to Step 3
