Brake Pedal: Reassembly

NOTE: DO NOT hook the return spring on the brake pedal lever before installing the pedal to the bracket.
  1. Apply Lubriplate(R) Lubricant, (1052196 US; 5264008 Canada), or the equivalent, to the brake pedal return spring.
  2. Install the brake pedal return spring to the clutch pedal shaft.
  3. Install the brake pedal to the clutch pedal shaft.
  4. Apply a thin coat of lithium grease to the inside of the clutch pedal shaft bushings. See Figure .
  5. Install the clutch pedal, clutch pedal lever and clutch pedal return spring into clutch/brake pedal bracket.
  6. Install the clutch pedal return spring to the clutch/brake pedal bracket. See Figure .
  7. Install the clutch pedal shaft arm onto the clutch pedal shaft, aligning marks made during disassembly. Install clutch pedal shaft arm bolt and nut and tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
