Park Brake Inspection

Pull the park brake lever with approximately 40 lbs (20 kg) of force. Count the number of clicks or ratchet notches. The minimum number of clicks is 5. The maximum number of clicks is 7. Verify that the park brake prevents the vehicle from moving. Complete the Park Brake Adjustment if the park brake lever travel is not within specification. See PARK BRAKE ADJUSTMENT  .
