Removal Procedure

- Remove the instrument panel assembly. Refer to Instrument Panel (I/P) Assembly Replacement .
- Remove the following components from the IP assembly:
- The screw (2)
- The air distribution center duct (1)

- Remove the following components from the IP assembly:
- The 4 screws (1)
- The windshield defroster outlet duct (2)
- The heater duct

- Remove the screw (3) from the left side of the rear of the IP assembly (1) which secures the IP wiring harness (2).

- Remove the 2 screws (1) from the center of the rear of the IP assembly (3) which secure the IP wiring harness (2).

- Remove the screw (3) from the right side of the rear of the IP assembly (1) which secures the IP wiring harness (2).

- Release the wiring harness retainers and remove the IP wiring harness (2) from the IP reinforcement (1).
- Remove the following components from the IP assembly:
- The 10 screws
- The 4 bolts
- The IP reinforcement
