Preliminary Procedures Apply the parking brake. Remove the automatic transmission control lever knob. Refer to Transmission Control Lever Knob Replacement . Remove the front floor console accessory trim plate. Refer to Front Floor Console Accessory Trim Plate Replacement . Remove the control position indicator bulb from the automatic transmisson control indicator.
