Removal Procedure

  1. Siphon brake fluid from the master cylinder reservoir.
  2. Raise and support the vehicle.
  3. Remove the front tire and wheel assembly. Refer to TIRE AND WHEEL REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  4. Clean any dirt and foreign material from the hose and fittings.
  5. Remove the front brake hose from the front brake pipe.
  6. Remove the following from the front strut:
    • The front brake hose retaining bracket
    • The front brake hose retaining bracket bolt
    • The front brake hose
  7. Remove the following from the brake caliper:
    • The brake hose bolt
    • The 2 seal washers
    • The brake hose
