Temperature Control Cable

Remove the center trim bezel. See Fig 1 . Remove the knee bolster. See Figure . Remove the Instrument Panel (I/P) compartment. See appropriate INSTRUMENT PANELS article in ACCESSORIES & EQUIPMENT. Remove the front floor console. See Fig 2 . Remove the radio. See Fig 3 . Remove the temperature control cable from the clip at the HVAC module assembly. See Fig 4 . Set the temperature dial to the coldest position. Hold the door lever fully forward. Install the cable to the clip. Check the cable for smooth operation. Check that the door opens fully in both directions. Install the radio. Install the front floor console. Install the I/P compartment. Install the knee bolster. Install the center trim bezel.
