Mode Control Cable

Remove the knee bolster. See Fig 1 . Remove the mode control cable from the clip at the HVAC module assembly. See Fig 2 . Set the mode dial to DEFROST. Hold the door lever fully forward, counterclockwise. Install the cable to the clip. Check the cable for smooth operation. Check that the door opens fully in both directions. Install the knee bolster.
