Installation Procedure

  1. Install the backing plate to the vehicle.
  2. Install the parking brake cable to the backing plate.
  3. Install the rear axle hub. Refer to WHEEL BEARING/HUB REPLACEMENT -- REAR in Rear Suspension.
  4. Install the wheel cylinder. Refer to Wheel Cylinder Replacement .
  5. Install the rear brake shoes (6, 14). Refer to Brake Shoe Replacement .
