Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the instrument cluster retainer. Refer to BEZEL REPLACEMENT - IP Cluster .

    Important:  Do not remove the needle from the engine tachometer. There is not a detent or flat spot on the shaft in order to indicate the correct placement.

  2. Remove the 6 screws (3) which secure the engine tachometer to the instrument cluster case.

  3. Remove the tachometer (1) from the instrument cluster case.
