Adjusting Hardware Removal

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Remove the rear tire and wheel assembly.
  2. Remove the brake drum and shoes. See REAR BRAKE DRUM  and REAR BRAKE SHOES  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
  3. Remove the adjuster spring. Remove the adjuster actuator lever. See Figure .
