Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the oil pan. Refer to Oil Pan Replacement .
    2. Fig 1: Removing/Installing Oil Pump & Oil Pump Drive Shaft

  2. Remove the oil pump bolt.
  3. Remove the oil pump and the oil pump driveshaft.
  4. Inspect the oil pump driveshaft and the oil pump. Refer to Oil Pump Cleaning and Inspection .
