Oil Pump Drive Installation

Apply prelube GM P/N United States 12345501, GM P/N Canada 992704 or the equivalent to the oil pump drive gear.
Apply engine oil to the oil pump drive gear assembly for ease of assembly.
Install the oil pump drive gear assembly.
Install the oil pump drive gear clamp.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Install the oil pump drive gear clamp bolt.
Tighten: Tighten the oil pump drive gear clamp bolt to 36 N.m (27 lb ft).
