Cylinder Head Installation - Left

Tools Required

J 36660-A Torque Angle Meter. See Special Tools .

Install the cylinder head locator dowel pins, if necessary.
Inspect the cylinder head locator dowel pins for proper installation.
Install the cylinder head gasket.

Install the cylinder head.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Install the cylinder head bolts.
Tighten: Tighten the cylinder head bolts in sequence to 60 N.m (44 lb ft). Turn the bolts an additional 95 degrees using the J 36660-A . See Special Tools .
