Rear Axle Hub & Bearing Assembly: Removal

NOTE: The wheel bearing in the rear wheel hub is integrated into one unit. The hub is non-serviceable. If the hub and/or bearing is damaged, replace the complete hub and bearing assembly.

Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Remove the tires and wheels. Remove the brake rotor. See BRAKE ROTORS . Remove the ABS electrical connector from the wheel speed sensor. Remove the park brake cable from the park brake actuator. See PARK BRAKE ACTUATORS . Remove the mounting bolts from the rear bearing/hub. Remove the wheel bearing/hub and park brake assembly from the knuckle. Remove the park brake actuator from the rear wheel bearing/hub.
