Brake Pedal: Removal

  1. Remove the left (IP) insulator. Remove the BCM from the bracket and position aside. Remove the stoplight switch. See STOPLIGHT SWITCH  . If equipped, remove the TCC/cruise release switch. Remove the wiring harness clips from the bracket.
  2. Remove the pushrod retaining clip from the brake pedal. Remove the pushrod and washer from the brake pedal. Remove the brake pedal nut and bolt. Remove the brake pedal and bushings.
