Park Brake Release Handle Assembly: Installation

  1. Install the release handle and the cable to the vehicle. Install the cable using the same routing as the original cable. Install the release handle to the instrument panel retainer.
  2. Install the park brake release lever handle mounting bolt and tighten to specifications. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  3. Connect the cable to the retainer on the brake lever. Connect the release cable to the lever.
