Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the windshield garnish moldings. Refer to WINDSHIELD GARNISH MOLDING REPLACEMENT .
  2. Grasp the defroster grill through the defroster vents and pull rearward in order to disengage the retainers.
  3. Remove the defroster grill from the vehicle.
  4. Inspect the defroster grill for broken or missing retainers, replace the retainers as needed.
