Preliminary Procedure Review the high voltage safety information prior to performing the High Voltage Disabling procedure. Refer to High Voltage Safety . Disable the high voltage system. Refer to High Voltage Disabling . Tip both rear seats forward. Remove the front battery trim panel push-pins and panel. Remove the batter cross brace. Disconnect the service disconnect. Refer to Hybrid Battery Service Disconnect/Connect .
1	Terminal Extension Cover Fasteners CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten: 11 N.m (98 lb in)
2	Drive Motor Battery Terminal Extension Cover Procedure: Enable the high voltage system. Refer to High Voltage Enabling .
