Powertrain Control Module: Introduction

Service of the PCM should normally consist of either replacement of the PCM or Electrically Erasable Programmable Read Only Memory (EEPROM) programing.
If the diagnostic procedures calls for replacing the PCM, perform the following procedures in the following order:
- Program the PCM.
- Passlock Learn Procedure.
- Program the Top Dead Center (TDC) offset.
