Installation Procedure

  1. Install the transfer case shield to the cross member.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the transfer case shield mounting bolts.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the transfer case mounting bolts to 33 N.m (24 lb ft).

  3. Lower the vehicle. Refer to LIFTING & JACKING THE VEHICLE in General information.
