Manual 4-1 Downshift

  1. Place the gearshift lever in the Overdrive position.
  2. Accelerate the vehicle to 30 MPH.
  3. Release the throttle while moving the gearshift lever to 1st.
  4. Verify the TCC releases the transmission immediately downshifts to 1st gear and the engine slows the vehicle.
