Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the spare tire from the tire carrier.
  2. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to LIFTING & JACKING THE VEHICLE in General Information.
  3. Remove the hoist mounting nuts.
  4. Remove the hoist mounting bolts.
  5. Remove the pin and the retainer.
  6. Remove the hoist from the rear crossmember.
