Installation Procedure

  1. Install the spare tire carrier to the vehicle.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the spare tire carrier to body side inner panel mounting bolts.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the spare tire carrier to body side inner panel mounting bolts to 30 N.m (22 lb ft).

  3. Install the spare tire to the spare tire carrier.
  4. Install the spare tire to the spare tire carrier mounting nut.
  5. Install the spare tire cover.
