Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle with safety stands. Refer to LIFTING & JACKING THE VEHICLE in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Remove the tire and the wheel. Refer to TIRE AND WHEEL REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION in Tires and Wheels.
  3. Remove the rotor. Refer to BRAKE ROTOR -- FRONT in Disc Brakes.
    IMPORTANT: Do not hammer on a wheel stud.
  4. Remove the wheel stud bolt using J 43631  .
