Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the front coil spring. Refer to Front Coil Springs Replacement .
  2. Remove the lower ball joint from the steering knuckle. Refer to Lower Ball Joint Replacement (4WD) .
  3. Remove the lower control arm from the vehicle.
  4. Inspect the lower ball joint for wear, replace as necessary.
