Installation Procedure

  1. Install the upper intermediate shaft to the steering column.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  2. Install the nut and bolt that retain the upper intermediate shaft to the steering column.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the upper intermediate shaft to the steering column nut to 47 N.m (35 lb ft).

  3. Install the steering column. Refer to Steering Column Replacement .
