Removal & Installation

  1. Remove the instrument panel carrier. See appropriate INSTRUMENT PANELS article in ACCESSORIES & EQUIPMENT. Disconnect the electrical connector from the vacuum control assembly. See Fig 1. Disconnect the vacuum harness connector from the vacuum control assembly. Remove the vacuum control assembly retaining screws. See Fig 2. Remove the vacuum control assembly from the vehicle.
  2. Install the vacuum control assembly to the vehicle. See Fig 2. Connect the vacuum harness connector to the vacuum control assembly. See Fig 1. Connect the electrical connector to the vacuum control assembly. Install the instrument panel carrier.
