Temperature Door: Installation

  1. Install the air temperature door to the lower module half. Install the mode actuator. Install the actuator rod to the mode actuator. Install the mode actuator retaining clip. Connect the vacuum harness to the mode actuator.
  2. Install the air temperature actuator to the module. Ensure the actuator is seated on the locating tab. Install the air temperature actuator screws. Tighten the screws to Specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  3. Connect the air temperature actuator electrical connector. Install the screws in order to seal the HVAC module halves. See Figure. Tighten the screws to specification. Install the HVAC module.
