Mode Door: Installation

  1. Install the mode door to the module. See Figure. Install the air temperature door to the module. Install the actuator rod to the defrost door.
  2. Install the actuator rod retaining clip. Install the defrost actuator to the module. Connect the defrost actuator vacuum harness. Install the air temperature actuator to the module.
  3. Connect the air temperature actuator electrical connector. Install the screws in order to seal the HVAC module halves. Connect the actuator linkage to the door ends. Install the HVAC module.
