Mode Door Actuator: Installation

  1. Install the mode actuator. Ensure that the retaining tabs lock into place. See Fig 2. Install the actuator rod to the mode door lever. Install the actuator rod retaining clip. Connect the vacuum connectors to the mode actuator. See Fig 1.
  2. Install the right side driver knee bolster bracket to the steering column bracket and the intermediate bracket. Install the knee bolster. See appropriate INSTRUMENT PANELS article in ACCESSORIES & EQUIPMENT.
