Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Install the transfer case shield to the cross member.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the transfer case shield mounting bolts fro the transfer case shield.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the mounting bolts to 33 N.m (24 lb ft).

  3. Lower the vehicle. Refer to LIFTING & JACKING THE VEHICLE in General Information.
