Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the oil pan and transmission internal oil filter. Refer to Oil Pan Replacement .
    IMPORTANT: Individual pressure switches cannot be replaced. When any pressure switch needs replacing, the entire assembly must be replaced.
    IMPORTANT: The modulated main pressure solenoid G has been removed for clarity.
  2. Remove the two bolts (2). Remove the reverse signal pipe (1).

    3. CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Cautions and Notices.

  3. Disconnect the internal wiring harness connector from the transmission fluid pressure (TFP) switch (2).
  4. Remove 5 bolts (1). Remove the TFP switch (2).
