Installation Procedure

  1. Install the detent spring assembly (2) onto the control valve assembly. Confirm that the roller of the detent spring assembly rests on the detent lever (1).

  2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install 2 detent spring bolts (3).

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 12 N.m (108 lb in).

  4. Install the oil pan and transmission internal oil filter. Refer to Oil Pan Replacement .
