Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the transfer case. Refer to Transfer Case Assembly Replacement .
  2. Support the transmission with a suitable jack stand.
  3. Remove the transmission mount nuts.

  5. Remove the crossmember bolts.
  6. Remove the crossmember.

  8. Remove the transmission mount bolts.

  10. Remove the transmission mount.

  12. Remove the transfer case adapter bolts.
  13. Remove the transfer case adapter.
  14. Remove the transfer case seal.

  16. Remove the transfer case gasket, if necessary.
