Installation Procedure

- Install the wheel hub and bearing (3) to the vehicle.
- Install the wheel hub and bearing retaining bolts.
Tighten: Tighten the bolts to 180 N.m (132 lb ft).
- Install the wheel drive shaft retaining nut.
Tighten: Tighten the nut to 250 N.m (184 lb ft).
- Install the retainer (3) and cotter pin (2) to the wheel drive shaft nut.
- Install the dust cap (4).
- Install the brake rotor. Refer to Brake Rotor Replacement - Rear (Except Dual Wheels or NYS) or Brake Rotor Replacement - Rear (W/Dual Wheels) or Brake Rotor Replacement - Rear (W/NYS) in Disc Brakes.
- Install the tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.
- Lower the vehicle.
