Removal Procedure

CAUTION:
Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Cautions and Notices.
- Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure (Single Battery) or Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure (Auxiliary Battery) .
- Disconnect the auxiliary generator electrical connector (3).
- Remove the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement in Engine Mechanical - 6.6L (LLY).
- Remove the positive cable from the auxiliary generator, perform the following:
- Slide the boot (4) down to access the terminal stud.
- Remove the positive cable nut (1).
- Remove the positive cable.
- Remove the auxiliary generator bolts (3).
- Remove the auxiliary generator (4).
