Installation Procedure

Install the service disconnect switch.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Remove the service disconnect power cable nut and cable (2) from the service disconnect switch.
Install the service disconnect switch nuts.

Tighten: Tighten the nuts to 6 N.m (53 lb in).

Install the service disconnect switch screws.
Tighten: Tighten the screws to 6 N.m (53 lb in).

Install the service disconnect power cable and nut to the service disconnect switch.
Tighten: Tighten the nut to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

Install the service disconnect power cable (2) and nut (2) to the service disconnect switch.
Tighten: Tighten the screws to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

Install the ESB intermediate cover. Refer to Energy Storage Box (ESB) Intermediate Cover Replacement (5.3L Engine w/RPO HP2) .
