Installation Procedure

  1. Position the receptacle face plate (2) to the receptacle box (3).
  2. Push inward until the retaining tabs lock into the openings (1) in the receptacle box.

  4. Install the receptacle box (2) into the ESB.
  5. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  6. Install the receptacle outlet screws (1).

    Tighten:  Tighten the screws to 0.5 N.m (4.4 lb in).

  8. Connect the 120-volt AC electrical connector (3).

  10. Install the ESB intermediate cover. Refer to Energy Storage Box (ESB) Trim Cover Replacement (5.3L Engine w/RPO HP2) .
