Installation Procedure

  1. Install the auxiliary battery tray.
    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices
  2. Install the battery tray bolt and nuts.

    Tighten: 

    • Tighten the bolt to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
    • Tighten the nuts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

  4. Set the surge tank into position.
  5. Install the surge tank nut and bolt.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolt and nut to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

  6. Install the auxiliary battery. Refer to Battery Replacement - Auxiliary .
