Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  2. Remove the clip securing the heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) to the engine harness.
  3. Remove the HO2S from the harness clip.

  5. Remove the connector position assurance (CPA) retainer.
    NOTE: Refer to Heated Oxygen and Oxygen Sensor Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  6. Disconnect the HO2S electrical connector.
  7. Remove the bank 2 HO2S (1).
