Installation Procedure
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2004 GMC Sierra and 2004 Chevrolet Silverado. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
- If necessary, attach the EVAP canister vent valve (2) to the bracket.
- If necessary, connect the EVAP vent pipe (3) to the EVAP canister vent valve (2).
- Install the EVAP canister vent valve and pipe to the vehicle.
- Connect the EVAP vent pipe (4) to the EVAP canister.
- Install the EVAP pipe to the clips (1).NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
- Install the EVAP canister vent valve bracket bolt.
Tighten: Tighten the bolt to 12 N.m (106 lb in).
- Connect the EVAP canister vent valve electrical connector (1).
- Lower the vehicle.
