Installation Procedure

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  1. Install the glow plug(s).

    Tighten:  Tighten the plug to 18 N.m (13 lb ft).

  2. Install the harness to the glow plug(s).
  3. Install the glow plug harness nut(s).

    Tighten:  Tighten the nut to 1.7 N.m (15 lb in).

  4. Install the left wheelhouse panel. Refer to Wheelhouse Panel Replacement in Body Front End.
  5. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure (Single Battery) or Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure (Auxiliary Battery) in Engine Electrical.
